President Lion Sharon Fussell announces the welcoming into the club of three new members.
On Sunday Oct 23rd, Lion Woody Woodard hosted the induction of the new members. Maria Keady, Cora Bleau and Armando Perez Alerz were inducted into the Mason Neck Lions Club by Past District Governor Doug Cross.
In the YouTube video, Lion Woody introduces Lion Doug, and Doug then describes the history of the club, what it takes to be a Lion, and the responsibilities of the members and the sponsor, who is Lion Sharon Fussell.
Both the sponsor and the new members answer the questions posed, promising to support one another, help others and uphold the goals of the Lions Club International. They receive their pins and certificates to enthusiastic applause. They complete the ceremony by giving a brief bio of themselves, requested by the club!
A Picnic was held and music was provided by Andrew Tompkins, Lion WoodyWoodard, Lion Nancy Lisi and Lion Arthur Lisi.
