In spite of the rainy weather, Lions Clubs from Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D. C. gathered to march in the National Memorial Day Parade on May 25, 2026, honoring veterans of all wars but especially those who made the supreme sacrifice and returned in a flag draped casket. Lion Veterans wore a Red, White & Blue Sash.
Lions are actively encouraging veterans to become part of our organization and give back to the community in which they live.
Lions collect used eyeglasses for recycling to distribute to those in need all over the world. A van was near 7th Street and Constitution Avenue where glasses could be taken.
